I really enjoyed this book, it really started slow. I started getting into it with Riley and Ariela's first scene together.I really enjoyed seeing all the Eastbrooke kids in the future. Seeing how their doing, their lives. Everything. I love reading things like that. They all had great chemistry together. Its amazing how people can change so much in 10 years.Although I didn't like this as much as the first 7. It was still reallly good. I really liked the stalking part of the first 7 it made the books much better. But I am definately going to keep reading. Because I still LOVE all the characters. I cant wait to see where they go next.My heart did break over a couple of people in the future. Such sad ending for a couple people. But overall I really enjoyed this. Still a wonderful story.
Fans of the Keatyn Chronicles will continue to enjoy the "adult" lives of our friends. Taking place about 10 years after Keatyn and the gang graduate high school we see how Captive Films has taken off, which couples have stayed together, and who hasn't. I enjoy the characters and the story line, but I'm not 100% in love with the actual writing. I did struggle to stay involved due to the choppy writing and sometimes disjointed story. That being said I'll be waiting until Power goes on sale to see what happens next. Especially for Riley...hello cliff hanger.
I really like jillian dodd, her books all have a little bit of everything. I really liked the keaton chronicles stories, I recommend them before this series but they are not necessary, the author fills you in throughout. Good story, interesting characters, and well written. Recommend
I wasn't sure what to think of this book at the beginning. I felt like I missed a lot of the backstory by not reading the first set of books.Nonetheless, I was able to figure enough out based on comments provided to get the gist. I especially liked how each chapter was written like a screen play and from a different characters perspective. It kept the book interesting for sure. And based on the ending, a cliff hanger of sorts, you'll have to read the next book...which I plan on doing!
I forgot how much I loved Keatyn and Crew. This was like going home after college and finding out how your HS friends grew into really great adults. I always adored Riley and let's say he's off the rails. There is some shocking stuff about other characters and I'm so glad the author bundled all the novellas into one read because I don't do short serial reads. I'm looking forward to Season 2 when it's complete.
All the familiar faces from Eastbrooke are back. This is the story after Keatyn and her friends leave high school. Now everyone is older more successful, sometimes wise but definitely hotter. This time we get to hear from Riley, Vanessa, Ariela, and Dawson as well as Keatyn. The has passed and lives have been lived and the stories keep getting juicer and juicer. So much better now that they are older.
I originally purchased these installment to installment- but had to come back and get the whole set to keep on my kindle in order!This book is the start of the epilogue to The Keatyn Chronicles by Jillian Dodd. If you haven't read those, first- you must! Not only so you will have a clue to who these people are- but simply because you will be missing out on one Ah-mazing series if you don't!
Jillian Dodd has done it again! She captured my heart (and mind and everything else) with The Keatyn Chronicles. Now, she's brought the gang back together in this wonderful collection of serials and they're all grown up! Not to mention, things are HOTTER than ever with the Eastbrooke crew! This is yet another book of Jillian's that I could not put down. If you enjoyed The Keatyn Chronicles, then you're bound to enjoy Captive Films. As always, Jillian will leave you wanting for more! I absolutely LOVE it!
