I am a terrible test taker so keep that in mind. I went to school in FL, not WA so I felt I knew nothing about the law here. I read this along with the pharmacists manual from the DEA website and barely squeaked by with EXACTLY a 75. I recommend reading THE DEA MANUAL TOO! That's probably what saved me. I took the test on 11/14/18.Pros- It gave me some sort of blueprint for studying otherwise I would have been everywhere. If I was confused about anything I'd google that specific law code.- Sometimes there was a brief repetition of concepts which I found useful for my learning style.- The tables on various practitioners prescriptive authority was SUPER USEFUL for my exam.Cons- Sometimes I had to reread sections to understand that the author was trying to point out differences between Fed and State laws although he does make an effort to distinguish them. Be sure to Identify them when reading- Lots of typos as mentioned by others- It was very dry and hard to read but I don't know if that's his fault. Law is extremely boring and for that reason, it took me 2.5 weeks to go through it twice. Others say it took them a weekend to go through once. I just didn't have the attention span for it.Currently, it's the only resource for WA and I got what I wanted (barely) so for that, I'd say it was worth it. In Hindsight, I'd buy this book again if I was studying because it did give me a sense of direction for what I needed to know.
Extremely horrible book...... unfortunately it’s the only book up there for Washington...... it’s easy to read and understand but when you go to the exam it’s different material that’s been tested on...... no headlines no underlines no bold fonts..... all same font..... super distracting
It's the best way to learn WA law. Passed the MPJE first try. It's just a shame there are spelling and grammatical errors on every page.
Read it, and used the PowerPoint the author made for his class. Failed the mpje by one point (74 out of the required 75)
An excellent tool to prep for the Washington MPJE. Laid out very well.
